Clinical study: Massage therapy for the orthopedic patient

Research:
This review highlights the effectiveness of massage therapy in orthopedic patients. Since a significant portion of the population is affected by orthopedic complaints and many already use massage as a form of treatment, existing studies and literature were systematically reviewed and analyzed. The evaluation provides initial promising results.

Results:
Massage therapy is particularly effective for orthopedic patients with lower back pain and can also have positive effects on other orthopedic complaints. It is considered a safe method, enjoys high patient satisfaction and has been proven to help reduce pain and functional limitations
